Donating just 1 or 2 hours of your time per school year makes a huge difference!
Volunteering doesn't mean taking a vacation day from work to help at a book fair.
Your child's school and PTSA need help in many other areas too.
**Please note: You must fill out a volunteer application and be approved by our school board to volunteer within the district.  This is to ensure the safety of our children. Once you are initially approved, you are all set!
No need to apply yearly!  (click the Volunteer application button below to get started)

I want to volunteer!  Wait...what do you need me to do?

Opportunities include: working on a school team, helping to plan events, offering advice in your area of expertise, decorating for an event, stapling flyers, passing out refreshments at open house...the opportunities are endless.  You do not have to be an out-going people person, if you want to help-we will find what suits you best :)

How can I sign up?

We will post volunteer needs on our website and our Facebook page.  Make you sure follow us!  We also include that information on event flyers that come home from school.  Our volunteer sign ups are managed on Signupgenius.com.  You will see a link posted to sign-up.  If you aren't comfortable with online sign-ups, just email us at Brockportptsa@gmail.com and we will get your info to the right person.

Who Can Volunteer?

Anyone!  There are very few volunteer spots that require you to be an actual PTSA member. You do not need to be a member of PTSA to volunteer.  However, if you are working inside of a school, you do need to be BCSD board approved. See link above for the application, which is done online and only needs to be filled out once.  After you are approved the 1st year, you do not have to submit yearly updates unless your demographic information has changed.
